tangled wood white

So, there is this vine-type thing growing on the fence between my house and my next door neighbor's house. Towards the end, it seems to spiral out of control into a tangled explosion in my front yard.
I know that wood is normally classified as brown at first glance- but, look. This wood is white.

I'm not generally the type to be profound, but, I just couldn't help but think that it had to parallel my heart (or the human heart in general).

a tangled mess.

put it in perspective, mountain range blue

It is not likely that I will live close to views like this ever again in my life- I am thankful that I do for now, though.

Yesterday brought a stop at the hang-gliding bluff for a while.
I was thankful for the still-ness.
And, struck by the big-ness and the blue-ness.

peace.
